My name is Sarita Khurana. I am a Renal patient. I was diagnosed with End Stage Renal failure in 2003 and started hemodialysis in July the same year.
I had a transplant in September 2013 through Pair and Pool scheme, my daughter was my donor.

Being on dialysis was not easy, it affected my family too. But it was a way of life that we adapted to. Having the transplant made me realise how unfit I was when dialysing.
